Connect ChatGPT to Phasoric
First complete Prepare your Phasoric vault. You need an eligible Phasoric plan and a ChatGPT account/workspace that permits custom remote MCP connections.
Add the connection
- In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and enable Developer mode, where your account permits it.
- Open ChatGPT Plugins and select the plus button. Name the connection Phasoric and describe it as access to your connected Markdown and project knowledge.
- Under Connection, choose the public server URL method and enter:
https://phasoric.com/api/mcp
- Create the connection. Follow the Phasoric sign-in and consent flow. Choose OAuth if an authentication choice is shown; do not supply a provider token or invent a client secret.
- Review the discovered tools. In a new conversation, select Phasoric from the tools menu and ask it to list your vaults.
Current labels follow OpenAI's connection guide. Some workspaces still expose custom MCP through Apps/Connectors → Create, and organization policy can restrict who adds a connection. Use the route available to your account rather than assuming every plan has the same settings.
Keep the connection useful
Approve continued access on Phasoric's consent screen if offered. Older access-only authorizations need one reconnect to obtain refresh capability. Silent renewal depends on ChatGPT using the issued refresh token; it is not a promise of a permanently active session.
Try: “Use Phasoric to read my project plan. What did we decide, and which note supports that answer?” Follow the first-read and write-preview checks before allowing changes.
If tools disappear, refresh the connection's tool list or try a new conversation. If authorization repeatedly fails, check the Phasoric grant and continued-access consent before recreating the app. Never paste tokens into a chat.
